Why some older entries say "Aura"

Shelf was briefly developed under the internal codename Aura, so entries before 3 September 2026 use that name and mention features that no longer exist. Nothing is hidden or rewritten — see what used to be here and isn't anymore.

🚀 Features

• Custom labels are now checked automatically before they can be saved or printed — a QR code too small to scan gets caught in the editor, not discovered on the shelf after printing. — 2026-09-04
• Published the user guide that explains how Shelf works end to end — signing in, assets, kits, bookings, audits, reports, codes and labels. — 2026-09-04

• ⚠️ Shelf moved back to core inventory tracking under the Artefact Group brand. Removed: rate cards and quotes, purchase orders and vendors, vehicles and transport, clients, call sheets and crew, and the short-lived client request portal (added 29 August, below). Kept: assets, kits, bookings, custody, audits, reports, QR and Shelf codes, label printing, barcodes, the Lost & Found portal and first-run onboarding. 🐛 Fixes

• Fixed: when your workspace branding is locked by an admin, Shelf now shows the reason in the open instead of hiding it behind a tooltip you had to find. — 2026-09-04
